As an undergraduate student of the Neurosciences program at the University of Miami, I am well acquainted with the many subjects within science and mathematics. My recent tutoring experience has provided notable advancement in student achievement, particularly in the areas of algebra, trigonometry, chemistry, physics, and earth sciences. Being a student myself, I am familiar with the necessity to utilize effective study skills, and I have successfully taught students to simplify problems into their components parts in order to evaluate the bigger picture and gain a greater understanding of the situation. In addition to the aforementioned subjects, I have utilized this study technique to become competent in a variety of math and science courses, including: calculus, geometry, statistics, biology, and life sciences. Once I have completed my studies in Neuroscience, I aim to continue my procurement of scientific knowledge by completing the MCAT and pursuing a degree in medicine. Beyond my appreciation for the sciences, I enjoy music, and like to attend concerts whenever possible.
